How We Work
Small, clear scopes. Fixed quotes. Clean handoffs. No drama.
Here is exactly what happens when you engage Archcode.
Step One
Understand the Current Setup
We start with a short call and a lightweight review of what you have. No lengthy discovery phases — just enough to identify the real bottlenecks.
- 30–45 minute fit call
- Access planning (least privilege — only what we need)
- We identify risks, blockers, and quick wins
- Optional: Free Delivery Review for a full written summary
Step Two
Define "Done" and Fix the Scope
Before any work begins, you get a short scope document with clear deliverables, a timeline, and a fixed quote. No open-ended billing.
- 1–2 page scope document
- Clear definition of done (written, not verbal)
- Fixed quote — the number does not change unless scope changes
- NDA available on request before access is shared
Step Three
Implement with Visibility
We work in small, reviewable steps. Your team stays involved — not spectators. Changes happen via pull requests and change logs where possible.
- Work broken into small, reviewable chunks
- Regular check-ins (2–3 per week)
- Progress tracked in a shared board
- Pull requests / change logs for all infrastructure and code changes
Step Four
Handoff and Enablement
When we're done, your team owns the result. We document everything, walk you through it, and remove our access.
- Docs, runbooks, and architecture diagrams
- Walkthrough session with your team
- A "next steps" plan your team can follow
- Our access is removed at project close
What You Can Expect

Clean repo and infrastructure changes you can review and understand
Practical defaults — not over-engineered solutions your team can't maintain
Fixed price — the quote you receive is the price you pay
Your team owns the output — not locked in to us for every change
Full access removal and secrets rotation at project close
